A reflective journal: write what’s on your mind — a situation, a decision, a feeling, something you just want to understand better — and choose how to explore it. You don’t need to know yet what shape to give it.
The Daily Check-in, to pause and put into words how you’re doing. The Decision Explorer, to get clear on what really matters when you’re facing a hard choice. The Perspective Shift, to look at a situation from another point of view. The Guided Journal, to explore a theme you choose: work, relationships, personal growth, change, confidence, goals.
The questions come one at a time, and you can always go back and change an answer. At the end, Perspecta reads your own words back to you and leaves you with one last question to sit with. Everything stays in your Journal.
They’re written for the thought you’ve just put down on paper: they change every time, because what you write changes. And if the service can’t prepare them, the app tells you, offers you the basic questions and doesn’t use up any of your reflections.
After a reflection you can note down a concrete decision and choose when to check on it: 7, 30 or 90 days. When the time comes you get a notification, and in the Journal you write down how it really went. Over time, Your Journey shows your patterns: mood trends, decision outcomes, recurring themes.
An optional, free exercise built on the symbolism of the 22 Major Arcana, in four steps: you look at an image, you write what it suggests to you, and only then do the card’s name and its traditional symbolism appear, to compare with what you wrote. Nothing is predicted: you are the one interpreting.
You can also carry on with the symbols at the end of an exercise, but it’s an extra option, not the main path — none of the four guided exercises uses cards.
On compatible devices you can choose, under Profile → Reflection engine, to generate the texts right on your iPhone with Apple Intelligence: private, works offline too, no data sent to external AI services.
The calendar connection is optional too: if you turn it on, before an appointment in the next 48 hours the app suggests a short reflection to help you prepare. Your events stay on the device — the server only receives the question you see and confirm.
You start with three free reflections. After that: single reflections or packs of 5 and 10 — each guided exercise uses one, and they don’t expire — or a monthly subscription with unlimited reflections, which you can manage and cancel in your Apple ID settings.
These never use anything up: the Journal, Your Journey, the Symbol Gym, the symbol library, the final summary of an exercise and any follow-ups you ask for afterwards.
Perspecta is a tool for personal reflection and entertainment: it’s there to help you think, not to tell you what will happen. It doesn’t predict the future and doesn’t give medical, legal or financial advice.
